Customer Service Representative

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative for a client in Manning, SC! This is a full time position requiring 40 to 45 hours per week entailing total ownership of customer purchase orders from order reception to completion of production. The objective is to provide accurate and timely service to customers.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Administration:
    • Front End: Order entry, pricing verification, order acknowledgements, commission rate verification, answer product information inquiries, execute general order administration activities including record keeping, CRM information management, and customer profile management.
    • Order Status: Manage communication of changes to order status and address customer inquiries and changes. Execute daily analysis of production schedules and proactively communicate with customers on orders status. Consistently update shared excel file for order status and details in conjunction with other customer service representatives.
    • Problem Solving: Resolve product or service problems within a team environment. Must be capable of defining customer complaints; help determining root causes, developing and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting corrective actions.

  • Inside Sales:
    • Actively call commercial team and key customers to communicate opportunities and information, as well as engage customers daily via phone and email with the mindset of generating incremental sales during routine conversations.
    • Convert potential customers to actual customers by answering product and service questions, suggesting information about other products and service, and making recommendations to management on product or service solutions based on customer needs.



  • Prefer candidates working on or having completed a 2 or 4 year business or related program at a local technical / or continuing education college or program.
  • Experience in customer service, specifically making phones calls and dealing with customers. Experience in the building & construction field is a plus.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, articulate questions, write clearly, and focus on follow up.
  • Must be computer literate and at ease with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel
  • High energy level and self-motivation is essential.
