Administrative Customer Service Representative

A company in the Mauldin, SC area is looking for an Administrative Customer Service Representative for a temp to hire position with a starting pay of $14/hour. The representative is responsible for taking escalated calls, working closely with Public Works, and ensuring a high level of organization to complete administrative tasks.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer escalated phone calls and complaints from citizens
  • Work directly with the Public Works department employees
  • Taking high level of inbound calls and directing them to the correct person
  • Maintaining a high level of organization
  • Scheduling, filing, answering calls, and any other general administrative duties
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

Job Specifications

Education

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Qualifications

  • Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Organized individual with excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with various departments and skill levels in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Self-motivated individual and able to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent general computer skills
