Job Description

Recruiting Solutions is currently hiring for a Project Support Specialist for an energy consulting client in Columbia, SC. This position is full time and offers the opportunity to become permanent. Ideal candidates are hardworking and have an analytical background. The pay is $13/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure E-bill invoices are printed daily for timely processing, maintaining an average time of 3 minutes per invoice
  • Batch invoices received throughout the day timely and accurately utilizing strict guidelines
  • Prepare and Scan live invoices into the Invoice Management System according to contract specifications and priority, maintaining an average time of 25 seconds per invoice
  • Prepare and Scan historical invoices into the Invoice Management System according to timeline set
  • File office documents including provider invoices, exception notices, and account histories in an accurate and timely manner
  • Participate in the re-evaluation of current processes and offer suggestions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of each process
  • Generate weekly address change and historical data gathering reports and prioritize accounts according to set timelines
  • Contact providers nationwide to request mailing address changes and/or to obtain a minimum of 12-month historical usage and dollar data on applicable client accounts
  • Review and verify a minimum of 12-month historical usage and dollar account data to ensure information is accurate and contains all details needed for processing
  • Update and maintain appropriate fields once the mailing address has been changed and historical information has been ordered, received and verified to ensure accurate metrics and reporting
  • Assist in the research and resolution of data gaps to ensure complete data is available to client users
  • Responsible for the following one-time tasks but not limited to:
    • Client, facility, and account setup
    • Utility services, which include meter numbers, utility providers, service types (i.e. electric, gas, etc.) and rate schedule setup
    • Associate rate templates with applicable accounts
    • Provide support to other departments to complete special projects
    • Associate applicable business rules, standard or client specific, with accounts
    • Aging day’s setup on all accounts to ensure that invoices are received and paid in a timely manner, so that no late fees will be incurred

Requirements

  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Data entry skills
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Excel
  • GED/High School Diploma equivalency
