The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing and directing all activities associated with all warehouse tasks and employees. The Warehouse Supervisor will direct the daily tasks that support both internal customers and external customers. These tasks include, but are not limited to, sales order fulfillment; incoming receiving parts stocking/put away; all work order kitting, sales order picking, packing, shipment of customer’s order, pick-up and delivery of parts required by Production work orders within the manufacturing process; and other independent demand, including the Customer Service Counter, service work orders and warranty; for tracking and filling work order shortages; for maintaining accurate inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies; and the timely movement of materials. Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning and Purchasing on resolving discrepant material issues and incoming inspection as required. This position leads by example, building mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members by taking responsibility for employee safety, building security, employee training and employee relations issues.

Review work throughout the work process to ensure that it has been performed properly
Communicates with all Manufacturing functions with a desired outcome being improved manufacturing processes
Participate in the development of continuous improvement programs
Assigned work that is extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems
Helps maintain an environment that is clean, organized and neat
Additional duties as assigned
Work overtime as production schedule required (some Saturday's during peak time)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Requires minimum of 5-7 years Materials experience in a Manufacturing environment
Requires minimum of 3-5 years Supervisory experience
ERP/MRP system experience – (preference given to Epicor experience)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
Ability to operate a forklift required
Strong organizational skills required
Awareness of time constraints, urgency, and on-time performance of all duties
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook required
Proficient with Adobe Acrobat required
This position works under minimal supervision
Number of employees that report to the Warehouse Supervisor their positions/job titles
Current total of 12: 9 Material Handlers and 3 Parts Counter Associates (although company will add 4-5 more Material Handlers, making a total of 16 or 17)
Work closely with other departments (including but not limited to): Manufacturing, Production, Order Administration, Engineering, Materials, Finance, etc.
May occasionally interface with Suppliers, Customers
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, level lift up to 13 pounds and lift overhead up to 10 pounds. Must be able to occasionally push or pull up to 50 pounds.
