Front Office Coordinator

We are searching for a front office coordinator for a successful business-services provider in Chico, CA. The office coordinator will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, in addition to the primary administrative support for managers within the organization. In addition, this key role will manage telephone calls, maintain the company calendar, and act as backup to the payroll department when necessary. This is a Direct-Hire, full-time position with a starting pay range of $16-$18.00/hour and generous benefits. Job Description

Position Requirements — Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer systems, programs, and applications
  • Intermediate skills with the Microsoft Suite software-including Outlook
  • Type a minimum of 45 wpm
  • Experience with all office equipment including FAX / photocopier
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports and correspondence
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic to make calculations, balance and reconcile figures and make changes accurately
  • Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication
  • Research and gather information for projects
  • Ability to exercise initiative and be proactive
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Required to have a high level of organization, patience and flexibility
  • Confidence and ability to ask for direction if uncertain of processes, as well as make recommendations for improvement of office procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years’ experience working in a professional office environment
