The Senior Accountant plays a key role within the organziation and will work from the firm’s corporate offices in Chico, CA.
As the Senior Accountant, you will...
- Prepare and post entries to the general ledger and manage the monthly close process
- Prepare financial analysis statements including monthly balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and actual to budget and last year variance analysis
- Manage the daily activities of the accounting group
- Collect and provide information for audit inquiries and give assistance to auditors
In addition to coaching and managing the activities of the accounting group, you’ll work with and support the CFO on a range of projects, staying abreast of current and proposed legislation, enforcing certain financial regulations, and recommending new and efficient processes.
