Employee Benefits Administrator

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR Starting pay $18 - $20 per hour. Are you an undervalued office professional and want to be an integral part of an organization? Job Description

EXAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain benefits and payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee data
  • Professional and timely communication to clients and their employees in regards to benefit services
  • Administer employee benefits, such as health, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans
  • Reconcile accounts, resolve payroll deduction discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Proven experience entering and maintenance of detailed data and reconciliation of accounts
  • Experience and the desire to provide customer service and have frequent contact with interoffice staff, clients, and employees
  • Solid proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in Word
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Minimum keyboard speed of 50 wpm net
  • Contingent upon favorable and verifiable professional references
  • Contingent upon post-offer criminal background check

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 2 to 4 years' experience in benefits or benefits-related administration
  • Experience on applicable databases and web-based software

COMPENSATION

  • Starting Pay $18-$20/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Employer-paid Health, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching contribution

  • Paid Vacation – 2 weeks
  • Paid Holidays – 8 full days, 3 half days
  • Paid sick leave – 6 days per year
