We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to join a growing supply distribution organization. The HR Manager will be responsible for handling all recruitment for multiple locations in various states, benefit management, employee relations, compliance and developing company policies and procedures.
Duties:
- Help recruit, interview and hire candidates throughout the company for positions at all levels.
- Help management to manage employee pay, benefits, raises, and overall compensation. Make sure compensation remains competitive and helps achieve company goals.
- Be in charge of employee training program. Create structure, organize resources, develop training plans and monitor employees’ progress.
- Develop an employee review program and train managers on it. Develop a discipline strategy and train managers on proper documentation.
- Provide guidance on company structure and organization chart.
- Be in charge of a variety of compliance topics. EEO, OSHA, …
- Maintain and manage Employee Handbook. Maintain, manage and develop company policies related to human resources. Perform these tasks with the goal of reducing company exposure/liability, improving workplace retention, and helping achieve a profitable/sustainable company.
- Work with outside vendors and services to ensure company has proper oversight for all areas of human resources.
- Provide input to payroll.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- 4-15 years of related human resources experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to communicate internally and externally in a courteous and professional manner is required. Proven ability to speak to small and large groups is desired.
- Demonstrated ability to write documents is needed. Ability to create presentations for internal and external customers is desired. - Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and subjects is required.
- Help management come up with strategies to improve company culture.
- Perform other tasks asked by management.
