Job Description

A leader in the cold-chain industry specializing in installation, service, and repair of commercial is seeking a Food Equipment Technician!

***Candidate will have done refrigeration and/or commercial HVAC for a least 18 months***

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment.

•Install and service food equipment such as slicers, grinders, meat saws, ovens, fryers, scales, proofers, etc.

•Diagnose problems and apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the system is working properly and make repairs to existing equipment

•Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, hoists, rigging equipment, torches and measuring equipment to perform service of the unit.

 

 CORE SKILLS

•Food equipment repair experience preferred - Hot side

•Understanding of the operations of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems

•Proficient with electrical and plumbing concepts

•Position requires the ability to stand, kneel, stoop and bend for extended periods of time

 

ADVANCED SKILLS

•Mechanical background

•Refrigeration and commercial HVAC experience

•O6A electrical license

•Traveling may be required

 

PAY: $17+ DOE

***MUST pass a background and drug screen
