Job Description

Responsibilities


- Operate tow motor safely and efficiently
- Generate and identify Corrective Action and Preventative Action Requests
- Ensure all ISO, OSHA, and company policies and procedures are followed, and all appropriate paperwork is accurately and legibly filled out in completing responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace and perform minor maintenance and inspections
- Utilize proper equipment
- Generate labels using Labelview
- Other duties as assigned
- Pull orders for staging and shipping
- Ensure order accuracy before/during loading
- Receive inbound and returned material
- Pull samples and turn them into the lab for all inbound/returned materials as required
- Perform row consolidation and record material movements
- Comply with requests to pull material from railcars as samples or to fill orders
- Pull and stage all box to bulk loads for production
- Conduct box to box repacking following work order instructions
- Segregate and label damaged product
- Perform actual physical inventory and verification of condition of product as requested
- Conduct cycle counts
- Inspect inbound materials, outbound materials, and returned materials


Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. 
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and round to nearest whole number
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

- Must be available to work 1st and 2nd shifts
- 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Ability to meet physical demands including occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs, bending, squatting, reaching and other physical movements as applicable to the responsibilities being performed
