Sr. Office Support Clerk opening for Third Party Administrator in Tualatin, OR. Primary job functions will be performed in the office.
The successful candidate will:
Provide exceptional customer service to members and providers regarding routine to moderately complex billing and eligibility issues.
Create and maintain accurate enrollment, billing and eligibility records for administration of Plan benefits.
Reconcile and troubleshoot moderately complex issues.
Provide customer service for billing and eligibility to providers, members and employers.
Prepare and process contribution reports.
Prepare termination letters, COBRA and self-pay correspondence, and HIPAA notices.
Process COBRA payments, refund requests, disability waivers and cash receipts.
Process new enrollments and update existing enrollments for participants and qualified dependents.
Identify, request and follow up on necessary dependent documentation.
Provide eligibility updates to outside insurance carriers.
Receive and process new employer contracts.
Strong work ethic and work effectively in a team environment.
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
1+ years of related experience.
Type 45 WPM and use a 10-key; proficient PC skills, including MS Word and Excel.
Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages.
Solid organization skills with strong detail orientation/high degree of accuracy.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
$21.90 - $25.21 per hour
