Job Description

Commercial Account Manager - Construction

Our client is a reputable independent insurance agency in Mesa, Arizona and is looking for an experienced Account Manager. Exceptional communication skills and knowledge of Commercial Lines products are essential characteristics of successful Account Managers. The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting of new business on existing accounts and support of Producer-led new business efforts.

  • The successful candidate will be assisting 2 - 3 Producers with new business and renewal accounts.
  • Experience working with Construction accounts is a plus.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Servicing clients' insurance needs
  • Cross selling to existing accounts
  • Complete applications, rates and quotes for new and renewal business
  • Respond to inquiries from Insureds, Prospects and Producers
  • Other duties as appropriate

Required Experience:

  • Arizona P&C license
  • 5 - 10 years as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, preferably with Construction specialty 
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Applied TAM experience preferred

Salary & Benefits:

Salary range for this role is $65k - $100k annually, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity. Benefits include 401(k), Health, Dental Insurance, LTD, STD, Vacation and Holiday Time.
