Data Entry/Accounting Clerk - This is an entry level position with an emphasis on data entry. You will be performing basic accounting tasks related to customer policy payments and agent payment posting.

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Can remain focused on completing tasks.
• Have effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review and post payments to agency statements.
• Process checks for outside finance companies.
• Handle daily bank deposits and ACH receivables.
• Manage billing program records and cancellations.
• Assist with refunds and communication regarding accounting matters.

Requirements:

• 2 years' relevant work experience, preferably in an insurance environment.
• Type 40+ words per minute.
• Proficient at 10-key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
