Inventory Control Clerk - West Side

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to work with an amazing Food Manufacturing Team on the West Side of Cleveland! This is a first shift opportunity starting immediately through January 2026.

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet company needs, investigating discrepancies, and supporting inventory-related audits and processes. This role plays a vital part in the smooth operation of the supply chain and helps minimize loss and inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels in the system.
• Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Record inventory transactions accurately and ensure system data is up to date.
• Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse staff to ensure proper stock handling.
• Report inventory metrics (e.g., shrinkage, turnover rate, stockouts).
• Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Assist in managing inventory for multiple locations if required.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory items.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems (NAV)
• Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to [X lbs] if warehouse-based.
