Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment, including motors, drives, controls, lighting, and 480V power distribution systems.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Studio 5000, TIA Portal, or similar).
  • Diagnose electrical and automation issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Support production by maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams on equipment improvements and automation projects.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards.
  • Document repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications.
  • Assist with installation and startup of new manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4–7 years of industrial electrical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
  • Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
  • Strong electrical and automation troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have your own basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work overtime or weekends when needed.
