Source Select Group is a privately-held Professional Staffing Firm specializing in Contract and Direct Hire Staffing Solutions for Technology Professionals.

• Participate in analysis, design, development, and implementation of software solutions for healthcare industry using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, Servlet, JDK, Windows, UNIX, etc.
• Evaluate complex software solutions for implementing enhancements and solving issues
• Provide application, product, and user support for multiple software products
• Work with senior development staff to understand designs and translate into efficient software solutions
• Responsible for development in enterprise Java, attending meetings, creating test and technical designs
• Participate in requirements gathering, documentation and analysis; work across multiple application tiers
• Read and write technical documents and specs
• After hours and weekend work may be required for upgrades to production systems to avoid system downtime during business hours
• Ability to work assigned hours and be available to participate in on-call rotations
• Ability to work after-hours and provide support via cell phone 24x7 when on call
• Good knowledge of and experience working in Unix/Linux environment
• Good knowledge of and experience working in Java enterprise technology and app servers

• 2 - 5 years of experience in enterprise Java development
• Must have knowledge of scheduling tools (DBMS, CRON, etc.)
• Ability to read and write shell scripts, working experience with source control systems, Spring and Hibernate
• Aptitude to translate requirements and technical specifications into efficient code
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Capability and wiliness to work outside of comfort zone
• Working knowledge in UNIX/LINUX environment and JAVA enterprise technology
• Good analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
