We are seeking a Water-Jet Operator to join our team! This position will report to the Water-Jet Operator 3 and be responsible for operating the CNC Plasma cutting machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Reports plate inventory to Water-Jet Operator 3 De-burs and labels parts off cutting tables. Loads and unloads plate off tables Basic operator skills on all Water-jet, Plasma, Shadow table Performs duties as assigned by Water-Jet Operator 3 Organize all plate in racks that are indoors and outdoors. Keep area organized and clear of debris

 EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Able to operate forklift and overhead crane Must be motivated and with a good work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and learn quickly; self-starter/self-motivated individual.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a high level of physical flexibility, strength and stamina including the ability to: see and assess drawings, photos, and written instructions; audibly hear verbal instructions and mechanical signals; and speak, read, write, and communicate effectively Must have full range of body movement. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must maintain confidence and balance while working on ladders up to 12 feet tall. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, equipment, hot materials, moderate to extreme noise, fumes, and airborne particles. Must agree to wear any and all necessary personal protective equipment to include: Eye protection required to reduce risk of injury. Approved footwear required. Ear protection is required. Other PPE as necessary to perform duties

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent.
