We have a Machinist position open with a local Rathdrum manufacturing company! Must have at least 2-3 years CNC lathe/mill experience, manual machining is a plus! However, new graduates are encouraged to apply! Must meet all levels of experience to apply for this job.

 Level 1 Experience:

•Cleans, deburrs, and finishes parts to meet shop standards.

•Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area.

•Performs all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner.

•Performs duties as assigned by lead or supervisor

 •Has the ability to use mills and lathes.

•Has the ability to set-up jobs for the lathes and milling.

Level 2 Experience:

•Quality control of incoming parts and blueprints

•Follows instructions given on blueprints for maximum efficiency in setup

•Uses micrometer, verniers, scales, etc. To ensure quality control.

 •Comfortable with using shop machines such as lathes, mills and drill and hand presses.

•Maintaining equipment in safe operating order.

•Performing repairs on minor machine malfunctions.

•Notifies supervisor of major machine malfunctions immediately

Level 3 Experience:

•Follows written and verbal procedures (absolutely no "off on your own decision-making" without permission from lead).

•Machines materials in compliance with specifications.

•Cleans and grinds finished parts to meet shop standards.

•Machines a wide variety of parts with minimal errors and efficiency.

•Machines parts for custom projects, as required. Other skills needed for job:

 •Met the requirements of lower-level Machinist job descriptions.

•Possesses a working knowledge of shop math. •Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

 •Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools related to machining.

•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

•Ability to work independently and learn quickly; self -starter/self-motivated individual.

•Able to operate forklifts.

•Able to push/pull loads with pallet jacks/carts/hand trucks/ etc.
