A local health and rehabilitation facility is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist to join their team. This position is primarily responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable- billing, collections and reporting.

Duties:

• Ensure billed claims are in compliance with federal, state and payer requirements
• Work through assigned accounts in a timely matter with minimal supervision
• Complete the billing of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Provider 1 claims, L&I, Veterans Administration, HMO Medical Plans, Primary insurances and more
• Handle and resolve billing, follow up, and denial issues
• Manage Accounts Receivable
• Manage statements and monthly aging reports
• Perform pre-billing audits
• Utilize multiple electronic billing, medial retrieval systems and payer websites
• Answer and research all billing inquiries regarding patient accounts
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience:

• Associates degree in Accounting,
• Minimum of 2-4 years post-acute care related experience,
• OR training or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $18-$22 DOE
