Purchasing Informatics Analyst

Job Description

Purchasing Informatics Analyst position needed for organization in Chico. Qualified candidates must have proven experience maintaining system tables, files, profiles, and dictionaries to ensure accurate and efficient workflow and operations. Will assist with the extraction and analysis of data from the database systems, and in the development of reports for use in support of supply chain-related functions and able to recommend solutions to enhance associated data driven processes.


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or health administration


Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of hospital information systems. Must possess excellent keyboarding skills. Must possess ability to analyze complex information systems and processes. Must exercise extreme accuracy in the performance of assigned tasks. Must possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and be able to work in a complex, fast-paced environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Able to manage complex projects simultaneously. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. Must have at least six months hospital or data management experience.
