Personal Lines Account Manager opening for a well established independent agency to work in their Lakewood office.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide superior customer service to clients.
• Build strong relationships with the insurance companies, agents, and customers.
• Embrace cross selling and writing new business when the opportunity arises.

Responsibilities:

• Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures; document electronic files accordingly.
• Handle cancellations with care, and acts with the producer to save accounts (if applicable).
• Assist the Producer with preparing proposals and applications. Once the applications are done the account manager will submit to the carrier/carriers.
• Renew and re-market accounts as needed in conjunction with agency standards.
• Reviews audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier.
• Determines if agency or direct billing and invoices accordingly.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager
• Current Colorado P&C license
• Applied TAM experience a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

• $55k - $70k, plus the opportunity to earn commissions and bonuses paid on a biweekly basis.
