Commercial Lines Marketing Underwriter dedicated to the Agricultural Industry - This is a newer position within a well-established insurance company.  The Ag/Commercial Marketing Underwriter plays a crucial role with potential insureds and the sales agents. 

The successful candidate will:

• Inspect, analyze, and evaluate agricultural and/or commercial properties to determine risk and insurability.
• Have a deep understanding of the agricultural an/or commercial industries.
• Assist the agents and potential customers in ensuring accurate coverage of insured risks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-inspections to review and underwrite risks before policies are bound.
• Perform post-inspections for newly written properties and renewal inspections to ensure material risks have not changed.
• Accompany agents on insured apointments to assist in evaluating and identifying exposures, answering questions, providing detailed context, and be a subject matter expert.
• Evaluate property for value, condition, and exposure purposes, along with coordinating, leading and monitoring the Audit, Reinspection, and Re-underwriting programs.
• Provide assistance in obtaining coverage for high-risk exposures within the brokerage market if needed.
• Visit assigned county offices/agencies as required.

Requirements:

• Commercial Lines Underwriting experience within the Agricultural Industry
• CPCU or CIC designation
• CO P&C license preferred (Must obtain within six months of start date.)
• Ability to drive and travel daily, including overnight stays.

Salary Range & Benefits:

• $84,400 - $157,740
