Janitorial Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Cleaner to join our team on the East side of Cleveland and ensure that our facilities remain clean, safe, and hygienic for all employees and visitors. As a Maintenance Cleaner, you will play a vital role in upholding our cleanliness standards and contributing to a positive food manufacturing work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include the cleaning of various areas within the facility, including production floor, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness on a consistent basis while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, and possesses strong attention to detail. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on cleaning processes and suggest improvements to our operations. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas, production floor, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Dust and wipe surfaces to maintain a clean appearance.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, ensuring all areas are free of debris and dirt.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap in restrooms and kitchens as needed.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and used in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues and have the ability to handle light maint needed such as changing light bulbs, and fixing small projects.
• Follow all cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and their safe handling and usage.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues to supervisors.
